Prefabricated riser | Imperial College London

Halsion collaborated with a Canterbury-based fabrication company to engineer a steel fabricated riser unit for Imperial College London. The unit hosts mechanical and electrical services for the college.

Corridor modules

Highpoint PUCs

Highpoint is a £20m project comprising of a 47-storey residential tower block and a 7 storey residential block situated at Elephant & Castle, London. There is a combined total of 457 apartments. All of the prefabricated utility cupboards which incorporated heat interface unit, mechanical ventilation heat recovery units and the electrical consumer unit were produced at Halsion’s prefabrication unit in Kent before being delivered to site and fitted in place.

Shard Place Riser, Shard Place PUCs

Shard Place is a £30m project. It is a 27-storey residential building including 176 apartments.
263 prefabricated utility cupboards were manufactured at Halsion’s Prefabrication Unit in Kent along with all associated MEP services prior to being transported to site.

All the prefabricated utility cupboards incorporated the Apartments Heating and Cooling Interface unit, mechanical ventilation heat recovery units, the BMS control panel, the leak detection panel, the water softener and the electrical consumer unit.

Halsion also manufactured the soffit mounted services modules for 22 corridors, comprising of heating pipework, cooling pipework, boosted cold water, sprinkler pipework and electrical containment. The modules were delivered to site on bespoke trollies suitable to be transported to the floors in the site goods hoist.

Cherry Park PUCs, Cherry Park Corridors

Cherry Park is a £32m project comprising of 9 residential tower block situated in Stratford, London. There is a combined total of 1225 apartments. All of the prefabricated utility cupboards which incorporated heating/cooling interface unit, mechanical ventilation heat recovery units and the electrical consumer unit were produced at Halsion’s prefabrication unit in Kent before being delivered to site and fitted in place.

Halsion also manufactured at the prefabrication unit in Kent, soffit mounted services modules for 144 corridors, comprising of heating pipework, cooling pipework, boosted cold water pipework and electrical containment. The modules were delivered to site on bespoke trollies suitable to be transported to the floors in the site goods hoist.
