For us, environmental responsibility and good business go hand-in-hand, which is why we have developed our own environmental policy. This includes directives on the use of natural resources (thus minimising waste and encouraging water conservation) and the avoidance of pollution and disturbance such as noise, dust and traffic. We have achieved ISO 14001:2015 status.

Our vision is to continue to add value to our clients and build upon our reputation by continuing to contribute to society as a whole. We are committed to undertake our activities in a sustainable and responsible manner and take a leadership role in the built environment. We will ensure that our business genuinely contributes to the community by initiating and supporting educational, environmental, social and economic activities, which enrich our people, customers and suppliers and bring benefit to the wider community.
Community Involvement and Corporate Social Responsibility
Halsion and its employees continue to promote their ability and willingness to support varying Charities. Over the last two years the Company has donated £50,000 plus to charitable organisations, local care facilities and local sports clubs and facilities. We have also provided physical assistance in the form of materials and systems services installations to a local hospice and children’s home. We assist our clients with various community involvement local to projects we work on.
We also sponsor local football clubs and are investors in associations such as the Princes Trust and Hastings young achievers. The Company is proud of its commitment and ability to assist worthwhile causes and will continue to do so. As a business we strive to employ labour local to the project in hand.
IMS (ISO 45001:2018, 9001:2015, 14001:2015) and Monitoring
The Company has achieved and maintained certification to ISO 14001:2015, 9001:2015 and 45001:2018 (UKAS standard).
Control of activities related to the significant Health & Safety, environmental & Quality aspects is essential to achieve the best delivery for our clients. Key characteristics of these activities are measured to ensure that stipulated operating criteria are being met, including the achievement of objectives and targets via internal and external Audits including audits on our supply chain in accordance with our code of conduct and minimum standards. It is particularly important that measurements are reviewed to confirm legal compliance.
Regular site inspections monitor our performance and control of all activities relating to quality, health and safety and environmental, in accordance with our policies and IMS.
Internal audits and surveillance audits monitor the effectiveness of the IMS.
