PROJECT

Old Admiralty Building.

Procured under National Framework, the project consisted of the refurbishment of the world famous Grade II listed Old Admiralty Building in Horseguards Parade into the new home for The Department for Education (DfE). This CAT B fit-out and refurbishment represents 250,000 sq. ft of commercial office space across five floors, providing a modern and flexible working environment. The Grade II listed building has been transformed with state-of-the-art MEP services consisting of new ventilation, lighting control system, environmental controls, IT/AV, life safety systems….whilst maintaining and fully integrating the services into the existing and surrounding buildings.
The complex design and heritage of the building meant that all services needed to be coordinated with the existing structure with exceptional finishes required throughout. The building was upgraded to modern standards whilst maintaining the English heritage and unique design.
