One Threadneedle Street is an office space over 10 floors and 48,575 sq. ft in the City of London. The fast-track programme of One Threadneedle Street included a complete strip out of the 10-storey building and a fit out to Cat A. The project consisted of various plant areas and retail units at ground floor level. The main entrance was completely remodelled to include an enlarged ground floor reception area.
The substantial facelift of the building also improved energy efficiency and whole-life costs and the project achieved a BREEAM rating of Very Good. This project modernised, refurbished and expanded the net lettable space so that the customer could present what was, in effect, a brand-new building to the market.
