Old Admiralty Building – London

Old Admiralty Building – London

CATEGORY: commercial

Procured under National Framework, the projects consisted of the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Old Admiralty Building in Horseguards Parade into the new home for The Department for Education (DfE). This CAT B fit-out and refurbishment represents 250,000 sq. ft of commercial office space across five floors, providing a modern and flexible working environment. The Grade II listed building includes a new WC core fit-out, new and modified MEP services, cladding to chillers, raised floors, fire proofing and compartmentation.

The complex design and heritage of the building meant that all services needed to be coordinated with the existing structure with exceptional finishes required throughout. The building was upgraded to modern standards whilst maintaining the English heritage and unique design.
